CAMPING TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Camping is open to participants only in 2021. (Solo riders are permitted to bring one person only for emergency support).

Camping is available onsite from 1900 on Thursday, and you can stay until Monday morning.
Parking is available onsite.

Camping at Ard Rock is charged at a per person per night rate
You can camp in a tent, motorhome or caravan
One pitch is a maximum of 8x8m
You can park up to one vehicle in one pitch
There is no electric hook up
Please display your camping ticket in the front window of your car at all times
Under 18’s require adult supervision at all times
Campers must vacate the camping fields by 9 am on Monday at the latest
Metal framed awnings are not permitted on the campsite
The speed limit is 5mph in the camping field
Strictly no open fires, no BBQ’s and no naked flames
Ard Rock is not responsible for any misplaced, lost or stolen items
All camping attendees are subject to search upon entry
Dogs are allowed but must be on a lead at all times
Fire extinguishers are located at the gates of all camping fields
Campers are expected to behave in a manner that is courteous to other campers at all times
Please leave your camping pitch free of any litter
The event is in a residential area, No noise in the camping fields after 11 pm

If you wish to purchase a Campsite Ticket please make sure you have read the following terms and conditions which have been put together by Ard Rock. This is to ensure all customers are adhering to Ard Rock’s rules and regulations set for their campsite. Purchasing a ticket constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions between you and Ard Rock are incorporated into and should be read together with the Ard Rock ticket terms and conditions. If there are any inconsistencies between the Ard Rock ticket terms and conditions and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

If you provide Ard Rock with incorrect, incomplete or false information in relation to the purchase or use of a campsite ticket for Ard Rock, Ard Rock reserves the right to cancel your campsite ticket.

Please show your camping ticket on entry so that it can be scanned, if you do not have your ticket we will be unable to give entry to the site.

As part of our Terms and Conditions, we do not permit makeshift campervans/caravans on-site at our events. Many won’t have sufficient ventilation, water or door separation, and the risk from the gas and fire is a high risk.

Please ensure you read these carefully and abide by the following:

Only one vehicle will be admitted to the site per pitch within the Ard Rock site.

Metal framed awnings are not permitted on the campsite for safety reasons.

Campers are expected to behave in a manner that is courteous to other campers at all times.

Please leave your camping pitch free of any litter and use the provide recycling skips.

The event is in a residential area, no loud noise in the camping fields after 23:00hrs.

Under 18’s require adult supervision at all times.

Tents/Trailer tents/motorhomes/caravans are permitted.

Toilets will be provided throughout the campsite areas in various locations.

There is NO electricity hook up available. There will be a water point available for general use.

All waste-water must be contained. It is illegal to pour waste-water onto the ground, into a sump or into a stream.

Campervan/caravans must use the toilets provided and not pollute streams or hedges.

No trading of any kind is permitted from the campsite.

No sound systems are to be operated in the campsite fields. Anyone found operating such systems may be liable to eviction.

Please respect the Country Code at all times.

Dogs are allowed on-site but must well behaved and on a lead at all times, we reserve the right to ask you to remove any dogs from site should any significant issues arise.

 

FIRE SAFETY

No vehicles, awnings, tents (including toilet tents) are to be parked in the fire lanes at any time.

We do not permit sleeping in cars or vans and security will ask you to leave the campsite.

Cylinders should be stored in the unit’s gas locker.

Gas cylinders should be stored in the unit’s gas locker.

Generators and gas cylinders over 7kg in gas weight ARE NOT PERMITTED anywhere onsite and will be confiscated.

Open fires and barbecues are NOT permitted.

The use of large garden type furniture such as Chimineas; fire pits; large wood-burning stoves or any other item that is deemed to pose a risk to the safety of you or other campers is not allowed at any time. We reserve the right to confiscate these items and/or refuse entry to the campsite.

The fields must be clear by 09:00hrs on the Monday. All remaining vehicles and possessions will be removed.

The security staff will check for any items not permitted on site. Security staff will confiscate any such items and may refuse entry to the site. The discretion and decision of the security team will be final.

 

VEHICLE MOVEMENTS

No vehicle arrivals or departures are permitted after 21:00hrs in the campsite areas.

Once your vehicle is sited on its pitch any vehicle movement must be escorted by a member of the event staff to ensure the safety of fellow campers.

STRICTLY no vehicle movement is permitted on the campsite after 21:00hrs and before 07:00hrs.

The speed limits in the campsite area is strictly 5mph, anybody deemed to be exceeding this limit will be asked to leave the site.

 

DAMAGE/LOSSES

Ard Rock is unable to accept any liability for personal or property damages, losses (including confiscations) or injuries sustained at this event – other than caused as a result of our negligence.

SECURITY

We reserve the right to evict a customer without refund, and/or refuse admission. Anti-social behaviour may lead to eviction. 

You may be body/bag searched at the entrances, on the site or when leaving.

Any item(s), reasonably considered for use as a weapon, which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person, will be confiscated.

Any person carrying illegal items or carrying out illegal activity will be given to the Police and refused entry.

Throwing gas, aerosol or similar canisters/containers on to fires is extremely dangerous and will lead to eviction.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Banned from event – Glass, air horns, fireworks, flares, illegal items, illegal substances, unidentifiable substances, new psychoactive substances (NPS), laser equipment/pens, air horns / megaphones, nitrous oxide and associated equipment (balloons / CO2 dispensers / cream dispensers), sky or ‘Chinese’ lanterns, sound systems, spray cans, tabards/high visibility jackets, blow torches, generators with the exception of those fixed in campervans, gas canisters, aerosols over 250ml, petrol burners, any item that may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon, or which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person. Photographic equipment is permitted provided that it is for personal non-commercial use only. In the event of any subsequent commercial use, the bearer agrees to pay the Promoter for the cost of a licence issued by the Promoter for permission to take photographs / visual/audio recordings for commercial use.

Excessive amounts of food, cigarettes and alcohol. Only bring enough for personal consumption.

If you need to bring specific food or drink for personal consumption due to a medical condition please bring supporting evidence.

Banned from the event village – cans, disposable BBQs, campsite stoves, camping equipment, umbrellas, firewood, audio recorders, large/open drinks bottles (under 500ml sealed* plastic soft drinks/water are permitted).  Please note: you cannot bring alcohol into the event village (bars are available in the event village).  Please note: only bags A4 size or smaller are permitted in the arena.

  1. A) Anyone resisting the confiscation of disallowed items or disregarding these conditions will face eviction.
  2. B) Items that are confiscated will not be returned.
  3. C)  Under 18s are not permitted to bring alcohol or to purchase alcohol on site.
  4. D)  It is illegal for an over 18 to purchase alcohol on the behalf of under 18s.
